WizGlobal Kenya is seeking a passionate and skilled Fullstack Developer to join their talented engineering team. You will report directly to the Tech Lead and play a crucial role in the entire development lifecycle of our enterprise-grade web applications.
Responsibilities & Requirements
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality, performance, and security are paramount in everything you build.
Lead projects from concept and development to deployment and post-launch support.
Continuously learn and integrate new technologies and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and the Laravel ecosystem.
Strong experience with SQL database design, optimization, and SOLID principles.
A highly logical, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for creative problem-solving.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) or Asset Management sector.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (Vue.js, React, or similar).
